Music is a powerful presence that brings Fallen Hope together, strengthens us emotionally while giving us a platform to vent everyday human emotions. Fallen Hope combines metal from the 80s along with modern-day melodic metal and hardcore. The members of the band are: Jacy Oliver (lead guitar); Jayson Grace (vocals); Ben Durfee (drums); and Steve Hilson (rhythm guitar/ lead guitar). The bands members came together as students at Santa Fe High in Santa Fe, NM. They have been together for over two years, and have already completed a five week tour, as well as having played in Northern NM including Warehouse 21 (frequent headliner), The Compound, The Madrid Ballpark, New Mexico Tech and The El Rey Theater. They have shared the stage with such bands as On Broken Wings, From a Second Story Window, Reflux, Ion Dissonance, Psyopus, The Dead Pets, A Love Ends Suicide, WrenchInTheWorks, The Taste of Silver Cagematch to the Death and Imperial. The band released an EP on July 8, 2005 and is currently working recording new material for a more elaborate release than originally planned.
